The OXE diesel is the only outboard engine built particularly with commercial users in mind. It is designed for those who use their boat every day no matter the conditions and have to rely on the units for many hours every year. the innovation fills a new segment in the marine industry and cannot be compared to anything on the market today. efficiency, endurance, power and control.

OXE REPRESENTS RELIABILITY, STRENGTH, AND ENDURANCE

OXE is the worlds first high performance diesel outboard setting new standards for durability, fuel-efficiency and low emissions for an outboard engine.

Use of a marinised automotive diesel engine that is mounted horizontally, tested over time in line with automotive demand and proven through millions of miles in production cars.

The concept eliminates bevel gears and transfer shafts by utilizing innovative belt technology which allows for high torque transfer. The slim submerged modules provides less drag, reduces fuel consumption and increases speed.

OXE 300 HP

The OXE 300 is a BI-turbo configuration that provides its full 680Nm of torque at the crankshaft already at 1750rpm, at 1000rpm the engine provides over 500Nm at the crankshaft.

These are torque numbers that are previously unheard of in the outboard industry and that provides end user massive bollard pulling power as well as fast whole shot acceleration.

To meet commercial customer demands the OXE Diesel has been designed with ease of maintenance and service in mind. All service points for daily maintenance checks are located in the front of the engine to make service and maintenance as easy and straight forward, even in the harshest of conditions.

The L6 twin turbo engine and the specially designed gearbox of the OXE 300 has been tested in laboratory, DYNO-cell and on water to withstand the increased torque and power delivered.

The OXE 300 significantly reduces the emissions compared to petrol fueled outboard standards. Based on performance tests, the OXE 300 consumes up to 40% less fuel compared to a 300 hp petrol fueled outboard. Carbon dioxide are reduced by more than 35%, carbon monoxide by more than 99% and combined hydrocarbons and NOx by more than 70%. This reduction significantly contributes to a reduced environmental impact. The reduced fuel consumption and increased efficiency also increase the operational range with 60%.

The primary customers for the OXE 300 are Governmental, Transportation, Search and Rescue and other applications with high load and speed demands.

ENGINE PERFORMANCE

The OXE Diesel has been optimized for commercial usage. Significant effort has been put into reducing life cycle costs and maximizing the potential range to allow the users to go further. It is built to provide the solution for governmental, rescue, military, fishing and other commercial applications.

Diesel provides higher efficiency and torque, which gives increased load capacity and greatly reduced fuel consumption compared to petrol, resulting in up to 60% increased range. Diesel is less flammable than petrol and therefore much safer to work with, contributing to significantly reduced fire hazard and a safer working environment.

The combined benefits of an efficient modern Diesel Engine and the robust transmission deliver unique benefits for durability and increased range of commercial operation.

EMISSIONS

Throughout the development process of the OXE Diesel the goal was to develop and implement technologies and strategies to provide engines that meet the most stringent standards in exhaust, noise and vibration emissions.

The OXE Diesel models are compliant with the emission regulations established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), European Union (EU), the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and for OXE175 and OXE200 the EIAPP. It is also compliant with IMO Tier II, EPA Tier III and RCD.
